Scheme Trustees

There are eight Trustees responsible for ensuring that the Scheme is run in line with the Trust Deed and Rules and protecting members’ interests.

There are four RNLI nominated Trustees and four member-nominated Trustees.

Trustees normally serve at least one 5-year term but quite often serve two consecutive 5-year terms. When a Trustee steps down, finding a suitable replacement Trustee is not always immediate, so from time to time, there may be 6 or 7 Trustees, until the roles have been filled.

The names of Scheme's Trustee Directors are included in the Trustee Update published each year.
