Zurich Master Trust – the RNLI’s pension scheme in Ireland

All salaried employees who join the RNLI after 1 January 2026 will be automatically enrolled into the RNLI pension scheme provided by Zurich Master Trust from their RNLI start date, if aged between 23 and 60 and earns €20,000 or more per year.

Zurich Master Trust members can view pension details online via the Zurich website. Instructions on accessing the site and the information you need can be found in the documents section of the library.

This enrolment means that you will not automatically be enrolled into the My Future Fund by the National Automatic Enrolment Retirement Savings Authority (NAERSA).

If you do not meet the threshold, you may still opt to join the RNLI pension scheme, subject to eligibility.
